Deep Details | Making Youtube Videos

How to develop content ideas is explained very well by blogging masters, successful youtubers and other related contexts.

Sean Cannel mentions Cirular Viralocity – probably a term from Brendon Burchard.

The idea of thinking in Groups of Videos, Playlists instead of just one – promoting binge watching – increasing youtube views – something youtube likes and therefore may reward you.

Often the problem, though, that I have seen is, videos that are partly finished – even 99% – yet not published for different mindset and productivity / workflow reasons.

Take a simple video example I may have to make. It involves the following steps:

  1. Make tabs ready while listening and transcribing the details from the original song recording
  2. Cutting the tabs for the video. Tab pdf for the website
  3. Any other images – chords or text or end images or logos
  4. Record the main content video
  5. Record the intro, the endscreen, any other Call to Actions or Questions
  6. Start editing the video
  7. Add tabs, images, logos
  8. Have I done it right? Or have I missed something?

🙂 Publishing stalled. Most often by the image making step or editing and adding. Or by finalizing the video.

The lack of clarity can also prevent me from doing things at the right time, with as little delay as possible. (Musicians analogy – reducing delay between phrases)

Each of the steps, thinking deeper at each action level, task level to reduce confusion and improve final result can be helpful
