Just sharing some books I’ve been going through this month.
- Bulletproof problem solving (repeat)
- Cracked it
Gives me permission to tree (logic). Personally this helps me avoid emotional reasoning, overwhelm etc. The pressure to just like that decide and instead connect with what matters.
For example, Instead of taking the order – focus on one project, one can see which levers should move for the best outcomes in real life goals, options for future etc.
Been seeing a bit too much of Random judgement calls, decision making around.
Different from creativity, brain maps etc, since solving requires sitting through multiple nodes and not just get divergent.
- The pyramid principle (repeat)
- The 3 minute rule
I blabber. Reminds me to be Concise and structured instead. Divergent is good. But then, order, presentation, clear and less.
The 3 minute rule is an analogy situation. TV producer, pitch. Each of us have analogies. For me it is music (structure of song, start with notes to fluency etc helping with other life projects) and exam (syllabus, prepare, take the exam).
