Careful grip – deliberate business build is natural

People build businesses based on interest, without a firm grip on systems that exist and are needed for success. In real life, decisions that lead to success are never one dimensional like that. Take the example of studies and career choices.

Let us say my interest and skill is with maths, physics, chemistry – so naturally I could attempt to be an Engineer.
Now, interest alone is not enough. We need to ‘plugin’ and see what exists, that can lead us to success.

Choosing the right entrance exam and college.

Now within that choice, we need to see what is expected. What questions exist, how well they are usually answered to ensure success.

Now to do better than anyone else and make sure we have our win, we need to do one better than the existing.

So obvious.

Why is it then that we see in business listings for sale, how the creator had interest in the topic and started?
How come they never took the effort to see if they can actually plugin to existing patterns that have proven to be successful? It takes effort and it is new and they are on their own unlike in established systems like exam and college.

Interest is needed, not enough.
What exists, plus one.
Which patterns and streams exist – connect to them.

A related topic is, where people try to be unique, but the framework is missing.
They wonder how come nobody wants my service?

When they themselves have not enough clarity on HOW they are going to do the helping part, and WHY they are qualified to do it.

Unique is good, but show that in the clarity of your framework too. It is not enough to show who you are, but HOW you deliver and WHy you can pull it off.
